Press Release – Robert J. (Bob) Bowman Joins Snowden Lane Partners as Partner and Managing Director

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing client-focused advice in a values-driven culture, today announced that industry veteran Robert J. “Bob” Bowman, formerly Managing Director for Merrill Lynch in Philadelphia, has joined the firm as Partner and Managing Director. Mr. Bowman joins as a member of the senior executive leadership team and Operating Committee. He will focus on business development efforts nationally.

Mr. Bowman joins Snowden Lane after a Merrill Lynch career that spanned more than 31 years. He started at the firm as a financial advisor, prior to moving into management. Subsequently, at various times he was Regional Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region (overseeing 1,000 financial advisors and more than $100 billion in client assets), National Sales Manager and he also ran a number of office complexes throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He was Chairperson of the Directors’ Advisory Council to Management, was on the firm’s Product Development Committee, and had responsibility for coordinating the non-resident client segment for U.S. Wealth Management.

Mr. Bowman received a B.S. degree in marketing management from Saint Joseph’s University where he is Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chairperson of the Haub School of Business Board of Visitors. He is also a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is very active in the Philadelphia community, serving on boards and committees of The United Way, Handicrafters, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Teach for America.
