New addition brings team’s total client assets to $210 Million

NEW YORK, June 5, 2017 – Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing client-focused advice in a values-driven culture, today announced the addition of a former Merrill Lynch advisor to its newly formed Strategic Management Group in San Antonio, TX.

Marcus Selva joins the team led by Snowden Lane Senior Partner and Managing Director, Larry Barocas, CPWA, CRPS. Barocas joined the firm in April to form the Strategic Management Group and open Snowden Lane’s ninth office. He was most recently a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch. Selva brings $60 million in client assets to the team, and has Snowden Lane overseeing total client assets in excess of $3.3 billion.

Selva, a San Antonio native, joined Merrill Lynch in 2011, where he developed his client relationships with a nuanced, personalized and tailored approach, which accounted for the needs of the current generation as it did the next of kin. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he served as a new business consultant for the San Antonio Spurs NBA team. Selva is an active member of his community and has served as the president of the San Antonio Airport Rotary Club. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and lives with his family in Helotes, TX, a suburb of San Antonio.
